Questions about popping a zit.. S.O.S 10 points are waiting:P?

I heard that there's a good way to pop a zit.. they say that my hands should be clean and washed well with soap and water and also my face should be washed too...

1.Is it good bcuz if it's i'm gonna do it now because school's after hours and i need to pop it?

2.If I pop a zit in any way.. What is the disadvantages?? and what if i did the method up there?? whould the disadvantages be less???

Normally it is NOT recommended to pop a zit since it can spread the "infection" & cause scarring but if you MUST then there is a proper way to do it. First make sure it's a whitehead that looks like it could pop easily...never do it to one of those red under the skin ones because it just makes it worse. Anyways, yes you do wash your hands & face thoroughly & then use a tissue & lightly push on the area AROUND it because that forces everything out. Never squeeze it in because sometimes that just forces everything back in & makes it worse. Once you have successfully popped it then make sure to put some rubbing alcohol on it with a Q tip & use a benzoyl peroxide cream.

First wash your face and try to have some steam around the area. Then pop it by placing the tip of your fingers around the zit and pressing them. Some say that you should not pop them, but that is what is exactly done when you go for a facial. The problem however is that some people do a bad job in popping the zits. Meaning that they do not wash their hands and cause severe damage by pressing too hard. Also, remember that the zit must be ripe in order to be popped. This means that you have to see a little white substance protruding from the zit before you can pop it.

Yes make sure to wash your face and your hands as well. Wait till the zit has a white top on it to pop so that all the pus will come out otherwise it may not pop and it will hurt worse than before. A possiblity is that it may get bigger after popping but as long as you keep it clean and use cleansers on it so that it doesnt get infected you should be good and usually it will heal alot quicker. Die you zit!

If you're gonna do it, make sure it is a zit that has puss showing not one of those deep red zits. Use a sterile needle instead of your fingers. It will be much less traumatic to your skin. Make sure you clean with alcohol. When the clear liquid stops flowing from your face, make sure you moisturize the area so it doesnt scar. Use vitamin e or an aloe product.

What I do is wait till it is really yellow, till its really ready to pop. Then I wash my hands and use a piece of tissue paper on my face that way my hands dont touch my skin.
Then put some tea tree on it and leave it alone.

u should really not pop ur pimples. i means they will leave scars which. see it doesn't matter if ur hands r clean or not. when u pop a pimple the germs from the pimple spread to other parts of the face causing more pimples. and then they'll leave scars. the pimple usually go away after a few days. make sureu keep ur face clean. eat healthy foods avoid fried stuff. the pimples will stop appearing after a few weeks.

That spot will get kind of red. But if its a big zit with white stuff in it, I would DEFINITELY pop it. I'd rather have a red spot than white stuff, sAvVy?

You really shoudn't pop it at all, it can cause infection and scaring. Instead try something that will dry it up. Like an acne mask (try Queen Helene Mint Julep mask)
