I have a problem. Someone close to me is friends with someone they used to have a relationship with. I want to figure out a way to convince my friend that the other person is not trying to be just their friend. The things I have noticed and seen and heard are facts that the other person does not want to be just friends. This other person will do anything and everything just to stick to my friend and my friend is not realizing it because they think the other person truly wants to be just friends. How do I convince my friend that the other person is not really their friend that they want to more than friends.

you can't. If someone wants to be with someone, or believe them, there's nothing you can do. Sometimes, they even know that they are making a fool out of themselves, but they don't care as long as the other person is in their life. They just want to be there for that person no matter how bad the other person treats them or manipulates them.

Just let them see on their own, or it could cause problems in your friendship.. especially if the other two are really close. Sometimes people just have to see for themselves. Like the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. If you are right.. the other persons true colors will show.

Dukalin is right. This person more than likely sees and knows all of the signs that you are aware of, yet for some reason, they have their head in the sand about it. Nothing you say is gonna help.
