Yes I did drop my schooling, since I felt its wasting my time too much.
I am very much interested in Science & Technology, and when I was in school, I just felt I am wasting too much of time like 3-4 yrs to learn the things which can be learnt in few months.
But later after starting my Enginnering Company I finished my College & all formal studies. this way I learnt a lot more valuable practical lessons of life in a short span of time.
Plus I had so many things in mind for myself, like learning to Fly, Swim, Trek, Adventure, Travel, Mountenairing etc., so I feel I took a good decision on time.
My future plan goes like; trying for Master & PhD, and exploring lot more beautiful things of life like world tour, trying Mount Everest etc.

Well I am NOT a teenager by any means. BUT I did drop out of high school. I joined the Marines and got shipped over to Nam. WOW what an awakening. When I returned to the states the first thing I did was get my GED. I dropped out because l, like most kids I already knew everything, and I didn't like the school or other students, or the teachers. I was always getting into fights. (That's why I chose the Marines) I learned a lot and got the GED because I discovered that to succeed in life I needed this at a minimum.

I finished school at 16. I could not stand kids my age, never could. I hated the drama of it. I had been in the real world, raised my brothers, held the hands of dying people, kept a job to pay for our needs, you just cant go back to life as an ignorant kid once youve been through that.
But, I had already finished school by that point, i finished at 15 by home schooling my butt off, and went to a public school to take fun elective classes. They wouldnt let me because my homeschool credits didnt count, and they said i wouldnt be able to graduate for another two years.
That put me a year behind where i would have been normally.
BS.
i went and ACED my ged, which is funny because you cant take it until you're 18, but no one asked my age, it wasnt until truency officers showed up that the state realized what they did.
I wish now i had stayed in for atleast another year. Not because i needed to know more, but because there were social skills i needed from that environment. The real world is nothing like school. High school is a fairy land. iam 23 now and i wish some times i could go back and do it different.
but, iam here, i made good money, i took adult education classes, own a home, happily married, and expecting our first.
But just dropping out should never be an option for a child. i dont want to pay for that welfare.

I have never or would ever consider dropping out of school. If you drop out of school what are you planning to do with your life? Work at Wal-Mart ,or pump gas at a Sta-mart?

I dropped out in 9th grade. Went back a year later and got my high school diploma. Now i am 18, pregnant, and in college and going to get a degree in less than a year. And I'm married and pregnant. Its possible for anyone to go back to school if you put your mind to it.

i did once because there was too much stress....more stress than work..however, now that i've finished my studies....it's easier to find a job..and considering the stress thing....school really doesn't take care of their students well....they give you really hard projects (which they say that in real life it'll be harder but in fact they're lying)...unlike work where they really care about you, they give you salary, sick/holiday leaves as well as some other benefits...i hate school!!!
