am 20 years old and my b/f is 30 we have been dating for almost 2 years how do i know when i am ready for that big step.

You're kinda young yet HOWEVER, my reasoning is that after 2 years, both people should be thinking a permanent relationship at this point. If one or neither person is, and that's what your interested in, then it's time to move on. If it hasn't happened in 2 years, it's not going to happen. If however, neither one of you wants something permanent at this time in your life, and you just are really good companions, well, there's nothing wrong with that.

I know it sounds stupid but you will know when your ready. I've been dating my man for 7 years and we both decided to have a long relationship so we both would know for sure if we are meant to be together. All I can say is we're getting married next year. It's like on the movie Little Nicky...When he feels the butterfly's. You'll never loose them if your supposed to be with him. Good luck Chicky my advice is holed on a little bit longer your still young there's no reason to rush into anything. You have your hole live to be married. What's waiting a few years to be completely sure if your making the right decision.

Very big age difference. When you still want to enjoy life til you are 25, he might want to hurry up to be a father because he's getting old.

i feel that if you can't stand being away from him and you know that yalls relationship is good and healthy and hes the only one that makes you happy then yes.. love is love there is no time that you should wait till marrage if your happy then go for it dont let it slip by...
