My dad will not pay for my manicures. He says they are a waste of money....i feel they are vital for survival. This is so not fair because he never buys me anything. He says I need to get a job but gosh I'm only 21. HE wont even pay for my alcohol. HELP! I need a manicure really bad.

If you are still living at home at 21, you are lucky to be living there and not have a job. I wouldn't expect for your Dad to pay for your manicures. You probably should think about getting a job and then you can pay for things that aren't really necessary (like manicures, alcohol, ect). It is fair enough to live at home at that age and not work, it goes to show your Dad is helping you out and you don't even realize it or appreciate it.

maybe you should learn how to do a manicure so you can do one for your self all the time at home.
furthermore you are 21 thus you are mature enough to know what is a 'need' and what is a 'want',this manicure is a want not a need.
are you in college or what?maybe you should take your dads suggestion and get a job if you are not in school what exactly do you do with your time?
your dad sounds very smart, heed his advice.
i think he is on the right track by not hepling you to pay for alcohoi,if you want to drink so badly then go an dget your own money and drink it away.
with age comes maturity please be more mature and your dad will appreciate you better.

Grow up honey! Get a job and enter the real world of adults! If you feel that a manicure is a necessity you need a reality check.

Well perhaps thats his outlook, and not much you can do about it since he is paying? You can do one yourself, and thier are beauty
schools that charge a minimal fee training beauticians, so if you really need one that bad ask a friend or save your money to get one, at 21 my Dad didn't pay mt bills at all . You need to develop
a little more responsibilitys and try not to blame your Dad for things you WANT Yes I think it is wrong at 18 your an adult
Vital for survival thats a pushing it really Grow Up

honestly speaking the problem is not your dad by not giving you what you want. the problem was in you, at your age you should be independent and be shameful to ask for manicure and those stuff! Grow up girl!!!

wow, i cant beleive you still expect your dad to pay for your manicures and alcohol. i have been working part time since i was 16 and am about to go full time and i love having my own money because it means i can be independant and noone can tell me what to spend it on.
im guessing you were probably really spoilt and your dad has had enough.
