The reason I do it is because there are indeed things to eat in the fridge, just nothing that suits me. I go back periodically to see if I've gotten hungry enough that the bologna looks more appetizing than it did a few minutes ago. Usually it doesn't, I despise bologna, but I look anyway.

Wish I knew, I would stop it if I could, but I laughed when I read this because I can go look twice in the space of ten min. I wonder if there are such things as fridge fairy's. LOL!

Good question! I do that myself. I try not to do it, though, and if I want something to eat that's not in the fridge, then I go and get it if I want it bad enough. lol
