"The history of technology is at least as old as humanity. Some primitive forms of tools have been discovered with almost every find of ancient human remains dating from the time of homo habilis. Nevertheless, other animals have been found to learn to use and refine tools—so it is incorrect to distinguish humans as the only tool-using or tool-making animal. The history of technology follows a progression from simple tools and simple (mostly human) energy sources to complex high-technology tools and energy sources.
The earliest technologies converted readily occurring natural resources (such as rock, wood and other vegetation, bone and other animal byproducts) into simple tools. Processes such as carving, chipping, scraping, rolling (the wheel), and sun-baking are simple means for the conversion of raw materials into usable products. Anthropologists have uncovered many early human habitations and tools made from natural resources."

Bill Gates, had a dream one night.. The rest is history!!! No, actually computers were these Humungous, things on a wall..They were 100s, if not 1000s, of pounds!! Inbedded in a wall. And only government officials and the like had them! Then we got into Dos, then came copy machines, the T.V. was before the Dos, then came copy machines, Dos computers, were like prehistoric looking!! I had one!! And it was "Useless" to me!! If it wasn't Bill Gates, their's possibly this one other guy..before him, but I dont remember his name.. I'm sorry.. I use to hang-out with one of the owners of microsoft.. She had her own credit cards and drove her dads car, at 14-15, all of friends were blown away, by this!! Then her dad, went and bought her, her own house, before she even graduated school... Everyone loved going to her parties, "No parents!!" Ha!Ha! The good Ol' days! But, she was a very "Responsible" (then) young lady.. She wouldn't allow anyone baligerant to stay at her house parties, or even come over, if they weren't stable... She didn't even need her father to supervise her.. He did a very good job raising her, to be very responsible, and independant!!! Well anyway, I hope I helped in some way!! Smile!!!

A long time ago, the cavemen ate dirt, bark, and drank water. Someone woke up one day and said - I wonder how those dinosaurs taste.....
Hence the tool-making industry was born
