No sugar, meaning no soda, chocolate, or dessert of any kind. Drink lots of hot tea but without sweetener (unless you're into the artificial sweetener)eat hot vegetable soup (homemade is best). Heating pad on the abdominal area and soaking in a hot bubble bath. Taking a natural laxative also works because it helps to relieve any pressure on your stomach and while you have cramps, any little release helps. But NO sugar and lots of HEAT are the key. Good Luck!

If you are experiencing symptoms of menstrual cramps, it's important to see your doctor to be properly diagnosed. Although certain natural remedies show some promise, there hasn't been enough research at this point to conclude they're effective. Here are some of the more popular natural remedies for menstrual cramps. - Magnesium - Acupressure - Omega-3 Fatty Acids - Low-fat diet - Vitamin E - Vitamin B1 - Heat (such as a heat pack, warm bath/shower) - Aromatherapy - Massage - Calcium - Chiropractic - Exercise - You could go to the chemist and ask them for something for the pain I would recommend that if painful cramps during your period is so bad that it interferes with your daily activities or causes you to miss work/school because of it, that you definitely see your doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation as painful periods can sometimes be caused by conditions such as endometriosis which can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (although the pain typically gets worse as the disease does more damage with each monthly cycle). Other causes can include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease and sometimes a narrowing of the cervix. Hope this helps. Good luck :)

Heat. Use a heating pad on the cramping area, and you will feel so much better. The reason this works is because, when you have a cramp, its almost as if you have a knot. The heat releases the knot, if only for a little while. Also, movement. Many woman HATE moving when they have cramps, but the best way to get rid of them is to be active. Drink some green tea, eat fruit (bananna). I hope that helps you! :)

There r a lot of things u can do to ease the pain: -
1) dnt eat/ drink cold stuff. Have hot coffee or something instead
2) lay on ur stomach
3) Do mild exercises-like walking/ strolling
4) This is really natural- eat a mixture of jaggery and roasted asafoetida. It can be done easily at home and it'll definitely work.
5) And dnt skip meals, even if u feel u wont be able to eat anything. If u dnt eat, u'll feel worse.
6) After a meal, try to relax and go to sleep. U'll feel u cnt get sleep, but once u get up-u'll be fresh.
Take care.

First off dont drink SODA! or anything with caffeine. It just makes them worse. If you can start exercising before your period that generally helps with cramps. The heat pads that stick on they have in drugstores are a wonder. You can wear it right under your clothes and nobody knows its there. Also hot baths/showers. Any heat to the area usually helps me.

Put heat one it, like a bath, ora heating pad. Get in a little ball with you butt in the air (sounds silly, but it works) Go for a jog, the work out will help out. Go to sleep, you won't feel it if you're knocked out!

I have tried putting a warm towel on my girlfriend's stomach area and messaging it in a clock-wise circle to help blood circulation. She told me it made her feel a bit better.
