coolgirl ... what in the hell is your problem? I think he makes a good point. We shouldn't have to put up with this bulls.hit.
The names are easy to recognize ... so ignoring would be the easiest. You know, if people continue to answer, it gives them that much more just to harass us further.

Jason I am sorry but I have given up on reporting them here. Yahoo really does hate us. They just give us this nice community to keep us out of the other areas. Yes I know that we can go where we want but if we want community we have to come here and have no policing and no enforcement and occasionally our citizens get suspended. Mainly for reporting bigoted racism and discrimination. I no longer report I just answer the haters as intelligently and as sarcastically as I can. I collect my 2 points and try to never look at a question after I have answered. Because hatred exists in the world and nice people get trampled by the racist and the bigots. There are also wolves among us who are unhappy with their situation and lash out making us all look bad. There are good and bad in all people and not everyone will be good about the same things. Not all bad people are bad about everything. God commands us to love our neighbor as our self and to love God. those are the greatest commandments. My life is about obeying those when I can and begging forgiveness when I fail.
Peace.
Randy

I don't know about reporting, but ignoring sounds like a good idea. If no one answers them they may get bored and go away. Just remember, every time someone pays attention and responds they are getting what they want. The goal, I am assuming, is to be annoying and to upset. If there is no response then perhaps they will lose interest. I don't think that engaging in a battle makes any sense.

I'm with you, Jason. I've learned that complaints of that nature don't seem to get as much attention as complaints by those who are offended by what they read in the LGBT section based on the subject matter itself. Basically, it appears LGBT cannot ask a question that doesn't offend someone, resulting in being reported and the question and/or answer being pulled at light speed; meanwhile questions posted by those who wish to beat us about the head and shoulders with a Bible appear to be acceptable to Yahoo! Answers.
Sorry for the rant - anyway, I have an additional suggestion for addressing those questions. I add them to my watch list as I report them so I can see if they don't get pulled. If a question is not pulled with 24 hours, which is quite common, I e-mail the links of the offending questions to the Yahoo! Answers team. The questions suddenly evaporate!
Good luck.

Those of us who are offended by these things do figure out the best ways of doing this after a while . I felt as if I were the only one too , but in the short time that I've been on here it has cleaned up tremendously !

I am at the point where I just totally ignore them...unless they are particularly vile and involve killing children or maiming other people etc...there are a lot of baiters on this room and it seems to have gotten a lot worse over the past month or so.

Me too. I'm especially annoyed by xxon10, suppergirl, xxon10fan or follower..I'm not certain and their battle with kathy gifford...it's all that was on the boards last night!. I'm going to start reporting them. It's too much. We're supposed to be having fun and helping other people, not badgering them or insulting. Reporting isn't something I usually subscribe to, but looks like I'll have to start.

sounds right, but if you announce what you are doing the ones with multiple personalities will gang on you. They have been known to launch reporting attacks by just reporting your profile often enough to suspend your account. It is one of the exploitable flaws in this system.

I'd go out and find a cause that actually makes a difference in the real world to focus your energy on. If you want to keep attempting to reduce racism and biggots on the internet my guess is you have much frustration ahead. Good luck in any case.
