go the cheapest way ,you will never know the difference all gas is the same, its the additive that make it what it is, its all unleaded ,try one take of the most expensive ,and then try one take of the cheapest ,and tell me if you can tell the difference? other than you will have more money in your wallet ? in the 80's it made a difference but today your just fooling yourself otherwise, unless you go to a alliance filling station, and they sell a leaded fuel called S&L Racing Fuel, (for off road use only)and it 13.99 a gallon so take your pick, and the sell a unleaded 100 octain rating called (Trick )Racing Fuel @ 5.99 a 9/10th a gallon so dont worry to much just try to get a more modenr car when you can

I'm not sure if the Northsatr goes back to 1987,but if your car has a Northstar, go with the Premium. GM recommends it for ALL Northstar V-8's.

It is likely that the car was originally designed to run off of 87 octane, the regular gas. While it will no doubt function on the premium gas, you'd essentially be throwing your money away.

Unless an owner's manual specifically recommends premium (which it doesn't for older cars), there's not much difference. Go for the regular gas, it'll run just fine.

I mean of course it will cost more but you should do premium its a better quality plus the fuel will burn alot slower so it'll last longer
