Yep...I have 3 kids so I start early.....picking up stocking stuffers here and there, buying stuff on sale/clearance. I have a few things for each of them already and will start bigger shopping in a week or two...I like using lay-away and ordering online so I can find great deals. It's never too early to start, I was so relieved last year to have everything out of the way by December 1st! I hate holiday shopping crowds.....

I have purchased a few items here and there, mostly things that are on the clearance rack or in the dollar bin. As my daughter has gotten older it is harder to hide stuff from her, so I don't buy as much too far ahead of time. It also makes me buy more if I start too soon. I forget what I have for her and just keep buying. Geez! I have a problem!

Happy Shopping!

I always do mine on Christmas Eve that way you just get what you need and don't overspend. Last year I managed to get everyone what the wanted out of three shops and was done in under 2 hours. So this year I am going to try for under 1 hour

ABSOLUTELY !! I am done Christmas shopping usually by August each year, wrapped and all.

I shop all year for the bargains then store them in a spare closet. I actually keep a record book of what I get for everyone...for I do the shopping so early, I forget what I bought ...ha ha !

aaaaaaaaaaaah life is good !

Yes I actually have started buying Christmas gifts. I decide to start early so I can get all my gifts at a cheaper price and I could get them alot easier instead having to struggle to find different stuff for different people. I think its a good idea to start early because you save money, you purchase the gifts easier and you are able to get yourself something in the end!

I can't start my shopping until the last minute, because December is the month that my husband is transferring commands (military), and that means we have to save for emergencies that may happen while moving. We may be going to Japan for 3 years! It's pretty exciting. So, I guess I'll just have to wait until we get there to shop.

I started last January. And thank you for calling it Christmas and not Xmas or Happy Holidays. I don't even shop at businesses that have removed Christ from Christmas.
Merry Christmas.

My husband and I tell the kids that they will get the same amount of gifts that Baby Jesus got on Christmas. Three big gifts, clothes and stocking stuffers are about it. So far, I have a pair of Etnies for my daughter. Ugh! I need more money!

Started last month. Lay-aways are great. Too bad they are doing away with them.
I don't have credit cards and can spare only a few dollars a week. I don't want to have a credit card because I can not afford another bill.
