Sheet music is a hand-written or printed form of musical notation; like its analogs -- books, pamphlets, etc. -- the medium of sheet music typically is paper (or, in earlier times, parchment). Use of the term “sheet” is intended to differentiate music on paper from a recording, broadcast, or live performance, and more specifically usually refers to the print publication of commercial music alongside the release of a new film, show, record album, or other special event which involves music.

Some of the best pieces I have plaid at an intermediate level are the "Ashoken Farewell" and a slightly higher than intermediate "Concerto Number 5" by F. Seitz fifth movement. The Canon in D by Pachebell is brilliant but simple from the music I have. Also "Schindler's Theme" from the movie is BEAUTIFUL. I am playing it now. Enjoy these brilliant music pieces.

Free music is very difficult to find on the web.
This is where I buy most of my music from. I never had a problem with this company before. The music sheets are printed on high quality paper. I even got a book signed by Josh Groban.

The Meditation from Thaïs has accompaniment but works as a solo, if you want something slow and romantic. Also, Bach's Sonatas and Partitas are good but may be above your ability. You can also find an arrangement of the Prelude from Suite No. 1 for Unaccompanied Cello (Bach) for violin.

Pachabell Cannon is awesome, but usually done with piano accompaniment. Also at the intermediate level a book of spirituals would be technically challenging, and would give you some interpretive liberties.

Intermediate for one person is difficult for another. Please list pieces that you already have prepared. Suzuki Books are good sources of solos.
