My dad!

There are some real strong women in my family, and if I feel like quitting I remember them and it gives me extra determination. My Nana used to visit her 'old ladies' to help them out until she needed the help for herself and was always helping out at Arthritis Care lunches and helping other people until her hip replacement meant she could do no more. My aunt was in hospital all her childhood and not given an education yet she runs her own business and has written reports for the government on rights for people with disabilities, appeared on TV discussing the issues, and is so 'high powered' in her work that she recently flew home from holiday and had to go straight to London for a meeting! And yet she always has time for other people, and is such a good listener, my mum suffered badly with depression when my Nana died, but was able to recover from this to do her degree in art-seomthing which she had always wanted to do but never has the courage, she is now forging her own way in the world of art! I don't need ot look further than my family when I need inspiration!

My Grandparents. They have been married for 55 yrs and still love and respect each other every day. I couldn't think of another couple that loves their family more or two people in their mid-70's that are still so active. I pray I have the same energy they do when I'm their age. Grandma still cooks Christmas dinner for 45-50 people, from scratch, every year. They are amazing. 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and still loving and enjoying life to the fullest.

My inspiration has been my mom. She became a single parent in 1978, after my dad was killed by a hit and run driver, two weeks after I turned three years old. She has been a great supportor and when ever I think I've had it 'tough' I always remember that my mother did it all by herself without a husband. I'm very proud of my mom. God Bless!

Bill Gates because I want to be rich like him. Realistically I know I can never match his worth but he was young and smart and determined and I have enough money to live comfortably but he was a driven genius.
