Yes, I use the soap at other people's houses.
Some O.C.D. people may worry about germs clinging to soap, no matter how unfounded those fears may be.
If you have O.C.D. , and are really worried, just rinse the bar of soap under running water first. That will "wash" the soap and take off the first "layer" that last touched your friend.
It's sure better than NOT washing your hands, eh?
Soap, by nature, kills germs.

It's probably does, but I'm the same way even at home. I don't use the soap after the kids do or hubby....
It turns my stomach. The soap is probably clean. I just can't do it.

I only share soap with my husband. It's not like our parts have never been in contact before, so sharing a bar soap with him is not a big deal.

My husband and I share soap, I have no issue with that. Other than my children, I probably wouldn't want to use anyone else's.
