I don't actually do astronomy (personally I feel that is one for older dudes) and kiting has got be the most cliche hobby about but i might give it a go. Thats the trouble theres so many, I might just do more sport like swimming or working out or invent a teleporter just for fun.

Hobbies are a good way of meeting new people who have similar interests to you. Its also a way to pass those winter nights of boredom. Hobbies are always better than tell a lie vision better know as (TV). You seem sporting so have you thought about camping maybe throwing in some rock climbing.

I don't think hobbies are for retired people. I'm under 30 and I have a lot of hobbies such as crocheting, photography and digital painting.
I'm also a member of a website for photographers and digital artists. www.eyefetch.com.

I play video games and watch DVD's, that's sort of a hobby, but mostly I tinker and play around with technology to no great purpose, mainly computer stuff. It's fun and it fills the time!

I used to play World of Warcraft all the time, but I quit because it was consuming too much of my life. Now my hobbies are martial arts and riding my bike, although I don't get to do them often enough because I'm always taking care of our new baby...

Cycling. You can join a group on your area, get in shape, and put it to good use by joining a "Team in Training" group (all ages 16+) and raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society. You'll feel good about yourself & others & have a sport you can do your whole life. http://www.teamintraining.org/hm_tnt

What about remote control airplanes? My husband loves them. If it was up to him he would fly them all day. They can get expensive, so go cheap at first, just to see if you like it. It was amazing to find out how many men love to fly these planes. Your local hobby shop will have them as well as online hobby stores.

Hobbies are for everyone.

I like woodturning, you could try that...at least you wont have to sit in front of the soaps anymore and you get to build your own secret world at the bottom of the garden.
