Actually I have the opposite problem, the grocery list seems awful short, the cost is what astounds me

Not as astounded as I am by the fact that no matter what's on the list, I always buy additional items when I shop at Wonderful Trader Joe's. Happy sigh . . .

What I really hate is going in with a list, and coming out having spent far more than what I had planned on,and only having gotten half of what I had on my list in the first place.

Every week... and there's only two of us for god's sake! But then we don't eat out much.
People who have short shopping lists eat out and order take aways more often than those of us who cook proper meals.
That makes me feel better about it anway.... lol
