My hubby and I rented a cabin in Big Bear for a few nights and I was hoping I could get some advice on good places to eat. I would like to go someplace that might have dancing, or at least a romantic atmosphere. Thanks for the tips!

It isn't romantic, but Jasper's Smokehouse and Steaks on Pineknot in the Village is awesome. Pulled pork, beef and chicken and the regular steak fair. All the sides are really good too, especially the twice baked potato. I really wanted to try their desserts too, but I just couldn't make it past the dinner.

You could try the Chamber of Commerce website for Big Bear or go the state's tourism site and browse the listing of restaurants. Or you could look at the site where you located the rental and see if there are any restaurants listed there. You could also look at the listings of B&B's in that area. Sometimes they also cater or serve to people who aren't staying there.'
