CIRCLE OF BONES in the woods, near a very old cemetery???

Hi There. The other day, myself and my husband were in the woods behind a modern day cemetery. In the woods, behind the modern day cemetery, was a very, very old cemetery. (Talking about 2 different cemeteries -one somewhat modern and one very old.)

Near-not on-the old cemetery-was a circle of bones. They were NOT human bones; they were very, very big. They looked like something from maybe an ox, a horse, or maybe a cow. They looked like possible femurs from a big animal.

It looks like they have been there for a while. It definatly looks they were placed there by human hands. (The bones were intricatly placed together.)

What does this mean or symbolize???

There's no telling, really. They have meaning for the person who placed them there that may be incomprehensible to anyone else. I would recommend not disturbing them, out of respect for the beliefs of others.
