I never wear a watch and rely on my body clock and the natural light.
However, If I had to have a watch, I'd want a really good old-fashioned clock face.
The year I was born, my dad treated himself and my Mum to a pair of "expensive" Omega watches. That was in 1957. My Mum's is really pretty and delicate and she still uses it; has never used another. My dad died in 1970 and my Mum gave his watch to his best friend, who later became her partner. He died a month ago, and the watch was returned to my Mum. This is what she said: "How odd it is that two hearts have stopped ticking, but the watch just goes on and on ..." I thought that was beautiful.
Everything these days is so temporary! Designed to break so that people will buy the latest models from the companies ... I hate that. Love the way things were made with care and love in the old days and designed to last a lifetime ... Omega has proved it can outlast a number of lifetimes ... who can say the same about a digital?
P.S. I loved my first watch; it was a Timex and what I loved most about it was the sound of soft ticking ... another reason I think digital sucks!

I still prefer a clock face to digital, though I do have both type of watches, I tend to wear the digital for everyday use and the clock face for going out, guess I'm a bit old fashioned but I just feel more feminine with a clock face watch on when I'm in my finery.

I prefere a clock face. There's something too 70's about a digital watch. I haven't worn a watch in 6 years though, since I've had a mobile phone.

I can tell the time equally well on both digital and with the clock face. I would have to say that I prefer the clock face though because it looks more chic and stylish...

it depends on what I am doing. I like the digital for when I need measures but analog for daily life. This might be related to how old I am, and what I grew up with. I notice there are usually many more features on a digital watch.

I like the clock face, simply because it looks more elegant than the digital. Digital readouts remind me of robots, and I think we should keep at least some recognizable humanity in our day to day lives.

depends on what i have on. If i am at work or out socially, i will wear the clock face because it just looks more elegant. When i am excercising, i wear the digital. It just looks better that way. Am i weird?
