Blind obedience is a scary thing. That so many will forgo the logic and reasoning part of their brain and believe whatever they are told goes against what the brain is for in the first place.
I question EVERYTHING, all the time. Mind you, I do not FIGHT everything all the time, that would be quite a waste of energy. But question? Yep, all the time.

Have you ever tried to keep a 3 year old out of traffic, when your leashed cat is determined to go to the other side of the street (yet again) NOW?

I obey my parents and my teachers, but if they tell me to do something wrong, then I won't obey them. Doing things without saying "why" is a great way to show your love for your parents and your respect for a teacher.
