First of all their is (with a few rare exceptions) no such thing as a stomach virus. The stomach virus or flu that most people refer to is food poisoning. A condition which is wildly under-diagnosed. The best treatment is to drink fluids and wait for it to take it's course. The appearance of blood in the stool is a reason to seek medical attention.

1st 24 to 48 only sip clear fluids. Then the next 24 to 48 the brat diet.

The yoghurt answer above is the right one. Studies have shown that it can reduce the duration by a day. But take the yoghurt that has a special kind of culture. Its not really yoghurt and it is called probiotics.

Well for me pasta no sauce litte bit of butter. Plenty of crackers or bread(toasted) and ginger ale.One nore thing try drinking broth from chicken soup. This helped me alot and I hope it helps you too. Whatever you do no milk or juice it will make you feel even worse. Feel better ok.

try natural stuff like fruits, their juice,vegetables, light diets like soup....try not to trouble your stomach with junk food , fatty meals cause it's already tired,any food increases the acidity of your stomach & gines you burning sensation , besides healthy food helps getting better.....

Eat plain yogurt, (NOT fruity or flavored- plain only)
It's good for your colon, and aids healing after intestinal infections. Stonyfield's Organic Yogurt is the best.

Do you mean peptic ulcers? or Intestine ulcers?
You can eat all fine foods except, sour, spicy, stimullating drinks ( carbonated),fermented food (bread).

If you are throwing up, etc. I would say toast with no butter and lost of fluids to keep from dehydrating.
