Do you have new hardwood, like Bruce? If you have the seams, the urine may have gotten into the subfloor under the hardwood. You can try soaking the area with a treatment chemical and let it soak in, although there is a risk to damage the wood.
One trick I've used is a light bleach solution. We had 9 labrador puppies in our basement, and bleach was the only thing that really killed the smell. And the bleach is less likely to cause greying of the hardwood if you have to let it soak into the subfloor. More bleach, less water.

We have hardwood floors and dogs. Been there, done that. Wash the floor first with pine cleaner. It removes the smell. Then wash the floor again using something like Murphy's Oil Soap. It puts moisture back into the wood that the pine cleaner took out.

We had cat urine stains and odor on our hardwood floors after we took up the carpet (gross!) I sprayed a solution of bleach and water on it, let it dry completely, then we refinished and polyurethaned the entire floor. That way, any residual odor that may have lingered (I never smell one) would be sealed under it.

Definitely use an enzyme based eliminator. Zero pet odor works fantastic, as does urine gone. But be mindful of your finish -don't go crazy.
