Idaho land ....?

My husband and I want move to Idaho when he retires but need some ideas were to look for land to build on. Idealy we want to live in the mountains but close to a city with a hospital. Any suggestions on areas that are nice are welcomed. Thank you

A friend of mine just bought 500 acres on a mountain top overlooking a river near Lewiston. It is beautiful. Should have his mansion finished before it snows.....

Stay near Boise and Meridian, maybe Nampa.
