I need to burn a CD, but i got from one of my friends the data as an iso file. I was told this is a CD image or something like that so I have to write it on a CD to be able to see it accordingly.

Could you tell me what software can I use to do this? Nero Burning ROM can do this?

Nero cd burner can do this.

Go to copy&backup --> burn image to disk ---> and chose your iso file. nero will do the rest.

Well, unfortunately for this you really need to have a CD burning software that can handle ISO files to really get a good CD image out of this file format, though this is the best format to burn from when you do have a CD burning software that can handle this. I personally use Roxio Burner software myself, which produces a good image. Be sure to burn at slower rates as burning the image too fast can cause data corruption and data lose which can be a bad thing if this is a Data CD. Music CD's can actually have some miner data lose or corruption and still be ok.

yes you can use nero to burn it. i'm not sure the exact choice but i know there's an option on nero 7 where you can burn an image to cd, which is obviously what you want.
