Lorazepam (Ativan) won't have any long lasting heath effects. The problem may be more to do with dependency. Unlike antidepressant drugs, Ativan is used more for aggitation than depression. There are no known problems with stopping its use, unless of course you've become dependent.

As an RN and, according to my PDR...NO!!!

Dependency is a risk with any drug, prescription or, over the counter...

One of the most addicting drugs is: Over the counter nasal sprays!!!

If any probs, would have seen by now!!!

7 months!!! I'm surprised you can even write or stand! That's for panic attacks and shorter term use! Also, can be addictive!

Ask the doctor. You should be fine so long as you do not stop it suddenly. Then you could really be in trouble.
