The best rules to stick by are to get plenty of fruits and vegetables in your day that make your body's functions easier. Chemicals make your body have to work harder and it takes away from the energy that could have been put towards burning fat. So stay away from processed, fast, crappy food, and eat natural. Also exercise about 200 minutes a week (that's less that 30 min a day..) You shouldn't complicate the idea of exercise either, you don't need a gym or even a machine. You can just go outside, stand in one place, and move each of your muscles in different ways. (ex- putting your hands up at shoulder level and twisting your upper torsoe from side to side so you end up looking right and then looking left- abs.) It's as simple as that. And that shouldn't be a "diet" that you do and stop. It should be a way of life. That's the best way.
