I am a married female with kids that is sick of the government giving handouts to moms who can't/won't get married, get a job, and keep reproducing the lowest class of our society who will eventually do the same thing.
We had as many kids as WE could afford. Why can't ALL of society do that?

Am I the only mother of grown up children who work in the public service who is sick of such hypocrisy ? My daughter is a senior casualty nurse, presumably you never have, and never expect to go to casualty for anything. My son ensures that the computers in a government office work properly. Let me assure you, it's a department you would not like to be without.
I greedily took child benefit to bring these two up, and I think the country - including ingrates like you - has had its moneys worth, particularly when you consider how long they had to study and how little they get paid.
Still, it's very good news that you're childless - that's a real service to the rest of us - well done and thank you!

Well Im a female with no kids and I think its stupid that people who breed get extra tax cuts just because they choose to partcipate in over populating the earth. What next freaking mothers day and fathers day? Seriously though you chose to be parents, no one forced it on you, so why should you get a hand out for it and for that matter, I should pay less in property taxes and such to the city because I dont have kids in the public schools and You with kids should pay more because of um..oh yeah..you use the schools.

we have no kids we both work and get nothing my partner doesn't get company sick pay so he really can not take sick time cos the £55 of the state he would get paid wont cover our mortgage and other bills that still need paying, and you don't get any help to pay them. yet my sis and her husband have 3 kids and he has admitted he wants more kids cos the child benefit would pay more than he earns by going to work. and so he would give up work he doesn't like his job so he sees it as the perfect excuse to quit work
i think it's disgraceful

You are not the only one but one thing for sure is that in life, there are classes of people, the lower class, middle class and the high class people and it is only enevitable to help the government by donating the less priviledge. Its actually a good humanitarian work which you should be proud of. So please dont get tired, keep on helping you never know tomorrow you might need that same help.

It depends, some men can only get jobs that pay the minimum wage, but at least are working, then the government will give them family working tax credit, you couldnt bring a family up on the minimum wage these days. Or are you saying people with no qualifications shouldnt have children?

I am wondering which handouts you are referring to. If you mean education, not enough money is being given to fund education. That is why the public schools are in such disarray. If you are speaking of welfare then I can agree to an extent. There are many people who depend on welfare to get them back on their feet. It is the ones who depend on it indefinitely without trying to support themselves legitimately that urk me. I have children and have never taken any sort of handout from the government or anyone else for that matter. You shoudn't generalize.

No you'r not .
The idea of government giving away money with no strings attached must end .
Those who are capable of working in to be required to earn that check .
I don't care if it's walking the highway picking up trash or raking leaves , something .

And what would these "handouts" be exactly? If you are referring to how many states fund schools via property taxes, I will admit to disapproving of the inequities of that kind of funding system. However, as a married father with a son, I appear to be missing out on these "handouts". Can you point me to them?
