Maybe alone or maybe find a traveling buddy. A trip to explore and find one's real self and purpose in life. Write a novel and tell the stories about the people she meets with illustrations by photography. Does a journey like this make a person or break a person? what's your take on this?

That's that person's decesion, so it corresponds to some internal need. That's natural as eating when one is hugry and sleeping when feeling like it. I don't thing it is able to break a person, unless ofcourse something bad as an accident happens, but that can happen to anybody anywhere at any time.
I would love to read the book:").

Bon voyage!
