Infinitely many, in fact uncountably many. The cardinality of the set of lines of symmetry is the same as the cardinality of the set of real numbers.

To see this (if you know about such things) is there is a line of symmetry for each radius at an angle of 0 to pi radians. (Extend it to a diameter, after pi radians the diameters repeat themselves.) So for each real between 0 and pi, there is a line of symmetry and the reals between 0 and pi have the same cardinality as the set of all reals.

Every line passing through the center of the circle is a line of symmetry. Ergo, there are an infinite number of them.

Infinite, every diameter is a line of symmetry and in theory you can draw an infinite number of diameters on a circle
