Or was it one that you wore to a party? Any great ones?
My husband and I went to a party dressed as one body, ( together in an outfit ) with two dumb looking heads! It was hilarious....but rather uncomfortable! At least we knew where each other was all evening! :~)

I dressed up as a FAT WOMEN handing out flyer's of my lost dog(a tea cup dog something small).
As i turned around to walk away the dog(fake) was stuck between my "cheeks".
Its funnier if the costume is REALLY FAT.

My favorite kid's costume I've seen was an ATM machine it was so cool. You had to put the candy in the deposit slot.

My favorite costume I've done was a couple's costume. My husband and I dressed up like Wanda and Earl from The Dixie Chicks song "Goodbye Earl". No one knew us except the owner of the bar who we had filled in. He was under a tarp and I was decked out with a big blond wig and bruise make-up and fake boobs. It took a good half hour before the lady I was sitting next to finally realized who we were. She's known me since I was five. The owner of the bar was watching everything on the surveillance camera and said it was the funniest thing she ever saw.

I dressed up as a brunette flapper with a bob :-)
I dressed in my great aunt's vintage flapper dress, wore stockings with the seam up the back, oldfashioned shoes, and a short dark brown wig. Except for the wig and stockings, everything was atleast 50 years old.

NONE of my friends recognized me!

For couples costumes, I once saw the guy dressed up as a picture frame and the woman as Mona Lisa...

... and when the fed was dropping interest rates, there was someone who dressed up as a wooden board, held a box with "rates" written on the blocks inside, and kept dropping them.

i've seen a *lot* of great costumes. some of the funniest ones that i can think of -- go to homestarrrunner.com and find the various halloween toons/pictures. excellent stuff. :)

also - from the tv show friends -

ross dressing up as the 'hanukkah aardvark', or, even better - 'spudnik.' (a potato with a metal colander as a helmet)

chandler dressing up as a pink bunny rabbit.

but the best - joey dressing up as chandler. what was the costume? a sweater vest. :)

I went to a party last year and there was a couple, 1 was dressed like a hot dog and the other was dressed like a bun. Her husband was the hot dog and would jump into the bun! It was great! They won 1st prize!

I made a fall foliage one one year. It was great. Dye some pants and a hooded shirt brown, then cut out leaves and glue them to the top. Add some strands of leaves like you find in Walmart and maybe an owl on the shoulder. It was cheap, fast and fun.

When we were in high school a friend of mine went to our yearbook staff party as a tampon. She dressed her self in white clothes and stuck cotton balls all over her and then wore a white hat with a long string attached.

I think one of the greatest costumes I've seen was when my daughters and their friend went as laundry day. One daughter was a washing machine, her friend a dryer, and my other daughter was the laundry basket complete with laundry.
