It's said we have one book inside all of us, mine's very well hidden. But would you write your own book and what would it be about? Tip of my hat if you have already written one.

Actually, I have written and had my first novel published. I've completed a second novel and I'm working on a third now. I've had a children's book published as well.

All people have at least one story in them. Some have so many they are crowding to get out. I have lots of story ideas, but I write slowly, so it takes awhile.

If you want to write, sit down and write. If you don't, it's okay. Writing can be very hard and very frustrating. And once you finish it, there is no guarantee that anyone will want to publish it.

However, if you feel the need to write - do it. There is nothing I love more than having people laugh or cry at something I wrote. To have someone get involved with characters you created is a wonderful feeling. Sharing your story is such a rush. It keeps me going. Storytelling is what I do, who I am.

LOL! Davey's story is funny! 1. I have considered it, been told I should. Too many ideas float around this small brain to even list here but I could only write about something I have experienced. 2. LOL! Yes, I have started several times, it just never felt right at the time. 3. I have been thru a whirl wind of experiences on a personal internal level the past 2 years. It has taken all my attention. Even now the changes are so rapid that what ever understanding I have of Truth you can't hold me to for more than 3 days, they are constantly being added to. I can write an answer to a question, it has a particular point & format. A book is a much larger project. LOL! Perhaps if it were in Q&A format then we would be in business. Perhaps a book about an ordinary persons journey to know themselves. If you know yourself, really know yourself, you know everyone. We truly are all the same. Oh, the manifestations may vary but the internal cause is always the same. LOL! But then, what's to tell really! Sorry to ramble. Many Blessings!

Writing has always been easy for me, but for some reason putting it all together is difficult.

I've got two complete screenplays, have re-written works while a teacher (in play form, so we could practice reading) and am now in the process of writing a fantasy (60+ pages).

One thing I'd like to get into is writing educational materials. As a former teacher, I saw a lot of need for historical books that were written on different levels with more than a listing of facts.

I absolutely love to write - I already have my own collection of poetry and short stories that I've written and am currently working on yet another story. I'd absolutely love to write a book - I'd probably base most of it off of my life because I've been through a lot that I could definitely write about - but I'd probably give it a fictional spin somehow

Yes, the book would be about my life. Unfortunately someone gave me a Chinese curse at birth and wished me an interesting life. it has been hard (mostly my own doing) and I have come out the other side of those troubles a better person.

My husband and I are also writing a fantasy book on the older teen/adult level about a fictional race in another galaxy.

i would *love* to write a book. what would it be about? i have a lot of ideas. it's really just a question of fleshing them out, expanding the ideas into a workable plot, and most of all - having/taking the time to actually sit down and do it.

i have written a short story, but it's not quite the same.

I've got one coming out soon, it's called Twilight, by Alexander (me) it's mostly about poetry, with some horror thrown in, thought I'd do something different. If you write a book, watch out for Vanity Publishers, there's hundreds of them.

I have several incomplete books hidden in my computer at home. I love to write. Most of them are thriller/crime/romance. The latest is about a woman who allegedly killed her brother when they were younger because he was trying to rape her, as she grew older, she realized things didn't add up about the murder, she goes back home and starts to investigate and it pisses someone off. They start to terrorize her, trying to make her think she has gone crazy again. Her boyfriend from her childhood, who is the town's sheriff, starts to help her. That's about as far as I've gotten. Find your book, it's fun.

aye I would. I've tried one too many times to get my stories completed, but the one I almost got done was deleted. So, now every story I have I can't finish because of writers block. So hopefully someday I will publish my own book.
