it will be affected by joint income so proberly not if your not earning the only thing that will change is that you will get benifits from a joint claim e.g. like free dentist , perscriptions and eye tests .
also her council tax will go from 1 adult to 2 at the moment she will have 25% reduction on this so add 25% to see what it will be .
as soon as you start earning even part time you need to declare it but until then things shouldnt change . you can ring a number to see what it will be also internet does the same . as long as you tell them .

If she gets housing benefit it may be affected, you would be considered a non-dependant. She may suffer a slight reduction on some benefits because of the same reason. It probably would not affect her Child Tax Credits. I would suggest contacting your local citizens advice with her and see what they can tell you, also see if there are any benefits you can claim without compromising hers that may make up the difference.

hi I artwork for housing reward. It relies upon on how lots you're earning as to how lots if any housing or council tax income you may nicely be entitled to, learn the link below this might aid you calculate in case you would be entitled to those reward or not. additionally you may attempt using for working tax credit is you're on a low earnings attempt the calculator link for this below. attempt the working Tax credit calculator first as WTC would be classed as a style of earnings once you calculate Housing and Council Tax income ( a classic case of the goverment giving funds with one hand and taking it back with the different!!)
