It all depends on your budget, Snowdrop systems make excellent HR software but it's very expensive (25,000 UK) or so.

For pay roll there are hundreds of cheap and reasonably good off the shelf packages, and you can find them by doing a google search most companies will offer a 30 day trial so take the trial - find something that suits you and then implement it. (Trial it with fake data)

Obviously, there are a lot of things to consider when choosing the software to best suit your HR needs. However, as far a blanket choice goes, I would recommend iCIMS. It's great for handling recruiting and onboarding among many other things that are essential for the HR department. Definitely two thumbs up! http://www.icims.com/talent-acquisition-products/onboarding-software

Hi,

My idea of a good payroll software package is Payroll System. It gives authorization based access to the data in the centralized database.

This software tool offers leave management, Emails and SMS management, automated attendance and time sheet management. It provides different types of reports and dashboards. It also assists in claims management and progression planning.

Try this payroll processing tool and see, if it is up to your expectations.

Intuit is kinda hands off package, for what you want is a program called Open Office. Open Office is Open Source so it is free, it functions perfectly for every digital finacial record keeping that you may have.
Remember this, if you want any data secure, never allow it to go online. That is the base rule of any Secure Network.
