I Have to compare these conditions with conditions on Enceladus today.

Pretty nasty. It was the Hadean (Greek for 'unseen' but also appropriately 'hell') eon. Theoretically, surface temperatures were over 200 degrees celsius. But very little is known because there aren't any rocks this old - maybe because most of the earth was still molten, or maybe because they just haven't survived this long (there are 4400Ma zircon grains).

The atmosphere would have been reducing because this was before photosynthetic life. Here's a few links:
