Hi
the first and formost the best place to find music is your cd collection that u already have. then the next best place to get music would be the internet from place like iTunes , or limewire but the reason for using the internet last is becaue 9 times out of 10 u have to pay for the download fees.

Yes, you should have Itunes installed on youre pc, you can transfer music from cd onto ipod via itunes its all fairly easy just pop the cd in and transfer to itunes x
You can download dongs from Itunes music store at a cost of 79p and they have ones you may not be able to find on other free download sites such as limewire or morpheus

You can Load your Cd's onto Your P.C. or MAC(Make Sure iTunes is Installed)
when you Click import on any Music Cd it will place the files into your iTunes!
When you connect your iPod to your P.C. or MAC it will automatically sense your iPod and download Music from iTunes onto it!
You can then fine-tune your iTunes to either manually or Automatically update your iPod every time you connect it.

iTunes is the most popular legal download site, but bear in mind you have to pay for the songs.

You can put your own music from the CDs you already own onto an iPod, but you have to "rip" them onto your computer first, and then use the iTunes software to upload them onto your iPod.

Have fun '_'

You can download iTunes free from the web and can then store all your CD's on it. They can all then be downloaded onto your iPod! You can also download music directly from iTunes onto your computer.
It's really easy - even for a technophobe like me!!
Gotta move with the times babe!!

go to www.limewire.com and download free software - then start finding free music on the internet. Save your downloaded tunes into a folder that your iPod can see. Whenever you sync your iPod the limewire tunes will copy across. I suspect that Limewire is not quite legal but it is cheap!

Load iTunes onto your computer

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Then you can copy tracks from your CD collection into iTunes and onto your iPod

The iTunes Music Store allows you to buy tracks to put on your iPod

There are other sites where you can download illegal copies of music tracks.
