God didn't want it this way, but even that is being polluted now with avionics, rockets nuclear clouds etc. He wanted to let the Human being leave the sky alone, and therefore made it HIGH(he THOUGHT) beyond the reach of Humanity. and therefore it is High, answering your question.

It is the Raman effect. ( Sir CV Raman of India received Nobel Prize for explaining this) who discovered that the reason for the sky being blue.
There is really no ceiling. It is an illusion. So, it is not high or low or in the middle or something................................. it is really ..............................

its not, ats all around you like water, you only see the stuff at the top beccause the light waves are affected the more air they travel throught(blue light), thought: if its so high what are you breating?
