You have found a truth, that our lives as humans are really messed up, and sometimes we feel like there is no point in our existence. We are filled with dispair and emptiness. You have a hole in your spirit, and you will never find anything on earth to fill it up.....you could try drugs or alcohol, attempts at suicide, aggression towards others.....none of these things would fill that void.

The good news is that i have an answer for how to fill the hole. I am only telling you this because I have been where you are, and when I found out this detail, it changed my life completely, and I have been a brand new person ever since.

1) Recognize that you are not good enough, you are full of sin and mistakes

2) Believe that someone loves you more than anyone else ever could....this guy loved you so much that He died for you so that you will never have to experience death, instead when you leave this earth you can have an eternity of joy and happiness. This man I refer to was Jesus Christ, the son of God. He died for you personally, and then he conquered death by coming back to life. He could conquer death because he is all powerful, but he died for you so that you could be filled with his love and mercy.

3) Ask Jesus to send his holy spirit into your heart, and to give you hope and comfort. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and to help you to live in the glories light of his love.

4) Try to read the bible so that you can grow....all throughout the bible were people who felt lost and alone, and then found light and joy when they accepted God and Jesus into their lives.

Dont think I am crazy.......if you are at the end of your rope, this will make lots of sense, and you will understand once you believe.

Self preservation is an instinct. I have pondered this to, many times. I think those who do commit suicide have something within their brain that is wrong, something which removes the all-natural fear of suicide. It may be caused by some outside factor, such as depression or severe unhappiness in some other form, but ultimately there is something missing, or perhaps added, that makes them react that way.

Lady Instinst speaks from the back of the mind commanding you to live until there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Take a suicidal and put a bag around his head. I assure you he will kick and fight as violently as the person who knows conciously he wants to live. They want to live too, they just dont know it. Becuase they are messed up, or at least I think so.

As for the lack of fear of death, I think that too is just a way nature takes care of us. Its acceptance of the only thing that is assured in life. It makes sense not to fear it, as you will one day have to die. I have heard of people and animals getting very calm when they know they are about to die and there is nothing to be done.

I hope that answers the question.

You know that killing yourself is wrong.Once done there is no going back. You really don't want to die you just want your life to be happy and healthy. Remember this... If you keep making the same choices then you will get the same outcome. If your don't like your life then try making different choices. Killing your self is not a choice. It's a cope-out. I understand depression and I know how hard life can be,but if your life could turn around tomorrow then would you still want to die?If you believe that there is nothing after death just non-existence then what is there to be afraid of? what if there really is a hell and heaven?Think about facing God and tell Him that the life He gave you is worthless. If you live and work through then tomorrow your life can and will be better. Why cheat yourself out of that?

Do you think your life is dirt? If you treat it like dirt, of course it is. You should know that dying may seem an easy way out, but suicide is the act of throwing away your own life, which your parents worked to create and Earth's resources have been spent on. You have influenced a lot of people in your life, and many of them will be crushed if you die. You are not scared of how you kill yourself, but instead of death. You don't know what is has for you, and if you kill yourself it will not be good. If you still think your life is worthless, don't throw it away; you're still alive to find its worth. You have a purpose.

Please read what I'm going to tell you seriously. If you're even thinking this, you are most likely suffering from some form of depression. The good news? You are too scared to kill yourself tells me there is hope way down deep. PLEASE, PLEASE, not later, but right now, call your family doctor and ask to be seen immediately. You need to get a referral perhaps to see a psychologist. A psychologist can counsel you and see if you may possibly need medication.

I've had this same question go through my mind some 5 years ago and it frightened me because I really didn't feel alot. Go talk to someone NOW.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. I've been from darkness to light and I know there's hope.

God bless you.

Because nature works that way - only schyzophrenics and very depressed people commit suicide, generally speaking. Otherwise, your own genes won't allow you to kill yourself. As for not being afraid to die, I can clearly relate to you there, but I'm also certain that if you saw yourself in a situation where you could be dying, it's very possible that you'd be frightened after all.

Gee
I agree with some that that "fear" of killing yourself is kind of a little voice that telles you that there is hope. I'm strugling with the very same issue. Contact somebody soon and talk about it, that is the first and most crucial step. Do it as soon as possible.
If you had the courage to post your question here is because you are looking for help.
I hope everything gets better for you.

You know i feel completly the oppostie of you.
I'm not really scard of death, but im afraid of killing my self. Death is only a string between 2 lives... that's it. We are afraid of the unknown but i made effots through reading books about spirit, god, and beyond....i used to meditate. I asked for that shifting....
I have experience and i tired to kill my self three times. Different ways but there were signs from God.
I was prepared be in my next life and accomplish my Karama....but for somereasons im still alive and typin this answer to you.
I know that feeling...it's weired but sometimes when you get a god sign something inside your heart feels worm and light it's like your first time being on earth and see human being around you....and you wish you could hold on it to the eternity.....This was God....
Good luck

Killing yourself requires motivation and will power, which you lack. Dying requires nothing; it is the embrace of nothingness.

You are in a transition phase of your life that must be difficult to deal with. Humans would rather die than encounter the unknown or unfamiliar. Just deal with it and embrace the unfamiliar, I promise you will laugh at yourself in the future when you are much happier.
