Why is it that Bill Clinton and Hillary are attacking Bush administration?

They think that GWB should have gotten OBL in 8 months when Clinton didn't do it in 8 years.
He had a new presidency and I think may have been a little busy replacing all the W's they took off the keyboards.

All this bloviating on both sides is sickening and I wish they would concentrate on cooperation and problem solving.

It's simple...when the Clinton's can't step up and admit to the truth and their own mistakes and failures, they go on the offensive...Bill to try and establish a legacy where none exists and Hillary to "disguise" her socialist agenda and try to get elected...it's become typical Democrat operating procedure...supported by the liberal biased media. Bush and his administration made the preemptive strike on the Clinton administration six years ago and they've never stopped the attack.

The Clintons are just now getting around to defending themselves. I'd hardly call that an "attack."

And no, I am not a democrat. Many republicans are even beginning to despise the Bush misadministration.

Bubba spent his last two days in office trying to get it through Bush's thick skull that al-Qaida is America's most severe domestic terrorist threat, and that there was countless intelligence saying they'd attack us at home soon, and that evidence pointed towards them using civilian jets against us somehow.

Bush decided instead that golf and vacations 42% of his first eight months would be his main focus, and the other 58% was mostly occupied with paying back fellow Houstonian lodge brother Ken "Enron" Lay for letting Bush use his marked corporate jets on his 2000 campaign trail. That and the war in Iraq, which was even then being planned.

Personally, I believe that the mere fact that Bubba didn't kick Bush's @ss on 9/12 says much about his character and restraint.

Being President of the USA places you in a period of history. He does not want to go down in history as the only president that supported Muslims. Consider the Serbs and the Muslims, he wanted to bomb the Serbs. I just recently read that when the USS Cole was attacked the British are the ones that came to the rescue. The rest of the American Navy was told to run. One more thing, the President is the Head of the Military. He appoints the head of the FBI and the CIA is required to report their findings to him. Yet Mr. Clinton stated in his speech they would not listen to him. You answer me why he would say such a thing. If I would ask someone to do something and they refused and I was the boss I would fire their butts, Apparently, from what I have read Saddam Husein offered Bin Laden to Clinton and he refused. Wake up, brush yer teeth and have some coffee... Bin Laden was not the threat he was when Bush got elected... and Slick Willy only knew of the dangers that Bin Laden posed about 7 months before he was to hand over the reins to Dubya. Besides, the Republicans put too many obstacles in Slick Willy's every move... no wonder the poor guy had to get a lousy p/j from a fat, ugly internship... he couldn't get something better because he was busy with official matters... not like Dubya's record-breaking vacations (like when Katrina devastated New Orleans and people were dying, hanging on to rooftops, etc., for several days before he came out with the lame a s s excuse that he didn't know (poor buy... he can't afford a telephone, radio or TV???) yet he was proved to be lying... and he used Brown as the scape goat... he always finds a way to blame others for HIS inadequacies... say something about that idiot's multitude of shortcomings; he's made America the laughing stock of the entire world! Osama bin Laden became a problem as soon as the Soviet Army was beaten and left Afghanistan. The Mujaheddin, then supported by CIA Para-Military, had no measure of controlling them after the war. The CIA was not able to infiltrate them, and after the Soviet Army was defeated they all said thank you to the CIA and turned Afghanistan into a terrorist training camp and of course the Taliban turned it into hell. Who was the US President from the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan until the end of the Soviet presence in Afghanistan?

For many years CIA field operatives warned about what was going on, but Washington did not pay any attention to it, in fact at one time a security advisor told a certain USMC LTC were not worried about a bunch of fundamentalist with beards and pajamas! If we went after the problem then, I do not think it would of grown so large.

Clinton did try but failed. Who ever would of been President on 9/11 would of took all necessary steps to protect our country and destroy terrorist targets. Bush started down the right road, but missed the intersection, and his madness over Saddam allowed the US Military to fight in two fronts at the same time, and we have lost too many great Americans over Bush's focus on Iraq.

More important question, why is gwb trying to pin his own failure to prevent 9/11 and get osama, even in full out battle, on Bill? Oh, maybe to detract attention from his other failures that are continuing to cost lives every day.
