Texas doesn't nominate candidates, the parties do. A Texan can run for President, and if the convention selects them, they are nominated.

The people will lose the mid term elections. If you want to vote for a "change", the choices are pretty dismal. We need some new blood, but not to open the flood gates on immigration, spending and to cut and run.
