Amongst the five which movie did you like the most?

"The Ring." It was hard not to burst out laughing when the little girl crawls out of the tv. My friend and I actually did, while our dates were scared senseless.
I like "the Hills Have Eyes" because it had things that I didn't expect and, like someone else mentioned, kept me on the "edge of my seat." Or in my case, curled into a little ball as far back in the seat as a I could with my head buried in my knees.
Same thing with "Hostel." Some parts I just couldn't watch, but I liked it.
I didn't really enjoy "the Grudge" and I haven't seen "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" yet.

The Grudge was AWFUL!! It was so boring (both versions) that I could barely sit through it. In fact, I had to turn off the Japanese version because it was so boring.
I haven't seen nor do I even want to see the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Too many bad reviews from friends.
The Ring was pretty good. I loved the end of Hostel.
So, my pick would be The Hills Have Eyes. I love the original and the new one is so gory! Fantastic movie!

I like the ring the best... the hills have eyes grossed me out a little too much... I thought the grudge was stupid... I haven't seen the other ones.

I have only seen "The hills have eyes." and "The grudge." Of those two, I would have to say, "The hills have eyes." only because I understood the storyline a lot better. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a BIG Sarah-Michelle Gellar fan, but I really didn't understand it. ; )>

I would have to say the hills have eyes, but it would be the original 1 I would pick, the storyline was just brilliant, stuck in the middle of nowhere just waiting to be picked off by cannibals, excellent.
