depends on the solution and the acid soulte (can be liquid or solid), as far as I know, if you put an acid to an acid, nothing will happen and if you put an acid to a base (or alkaline), it will produce a simple chemical reaction

it depends on the solutions it might do nothing , or cause a reaction with the solution or salting out ....etc
