My wife bought me a Fujitsu Amilo L7320GW, I noticed it has only one speaker grill on left hand corner, can anyone tell me if it's stereo. I find it hard to think it has only one mono speaker in this day aqnd age, anyone help please.

the sound card can handle stereo, but unless the speakers are far enough apart, it sounds like its coming from the same spot anyway( like one speaker)
to get the advantage, you need speakers or headphones,
also, the sound quality on those speakers is not as good as external speakers or headphones,
so if you want good qualitly, you need to get some speakers.

Probably not. Laptop internal speakers, the same with TFT multimedia screens, are rubbish anyway. As someone else has suggested buy some external speakers, reasonable quality, and hook them up through your audio jack or USB ports, if you buy USB speakers. I have just looked at the Spec sheet for this notebook and good old Fujitsu Siemens tell you diddly squat about the motherboard and audio, other than it has a single speaker and on board sound.

It's possible that it's not, but it most likely has stereo support.
Try plugging in headphones and messing with the balance.

Does only mention Speaker. There are still several PC/Laptops that have only one speaker still.

YOU CAN'T GET STEREO OUT OF 1 SPEAKER. IT CAN SIMULATE IT WITH 2 CHANNELS THROUGH THE ONE SPEAKER. THUS NOT TRUE STEREO.
