being a singer myself i used to listen to the words over and over until i knew them...you could try writing them down....or while practicing, record what you have learned then listen....good luck....you dont have to sound like the original artiste....do it your way

I would try listening to the song a couple more times then sing along with the song and eventually you'll remember when to come in

To learn the lyrics the I find it best to just repeat them over and over again. Sing them to yourself whatever your doing. To find the right place to come in practice makes perfect, but trying to find a point in the original that will give you a musical cue.

Hope this helps.

you have to have the song in your head like a story. As with a story the song will have a begining middle and end. Jsut think of the story and you should find it easy... i do.. i only have to hear lyrics about 3 times and then i know them. Do it strory board fashion. good luck

if you're talking about a song by a pop/rock band or singer, then may i suggest you listen to the songs a couple of times. hopefully, you'll be able to memorise the lyrics and have the melody of the song playing in your head.

Remember the key phrases that repeat themselves and then the rest will fall into place with practice.
