I don't live in Brition but here in the US, when we did, it helped the economy a lot. Believe it or not, after we cut taxes, the national debt dropped more than predicted. Its basic econonics, you stop taking people's money, they either invest the extra or spend it. They buy more things so you genertae revenue (sales tax). The more money your citizens have in thier pockets, the better the economy will be.

No, out of all the developed countries in the world only Japan and America pay less taxes than the UK. I think we have a good deal and I would rather see money spent on providing decent public services. Tax cuts will only be needed when the economy needs a boost. That time will come but it will mean we will also have to cut back on public spending so lets hope its later and not sooner.

Yes , it has been proved time and time again lower Taxes creat greater Economical activity , but when you have a Sick , Tax Mad Bastard for a Chancellor and a pair of A .RESOLES for a Pime Minister and Deputy Prime minister . there is very little liklehood of whats good for the whole population being the the order of the day = shut your mouth and pay up is more likely

No. The economy is not in a bad shape and the whilst the tax burden may seem high so is the spending. If you cut taxes what spending are you going to cut?
