They disagreed on a point of child rearing...Rosie told Elizabeth that since she has 4 kids and Elizabeth only has one, that she's right and Liz is wrong. Nice, huh? I used to like Rosie, but she's a little too heavy handed on the show and seems to want to take the whole thing over. Sad, really. I like the other ladies, but they can't seem to get a word in edgewise with Rosie on the show. Again, I was a BIG fan of Rosie O'Donnell and was really rooting for her being on The View...but if they don't get her to play nice, it's going to be the Rosie O'Donnell show.

Elizabeth is probably not impressed over how Star was ousted from the show at the end of last season. They like to say that they were taking the show in a new direction but it's probably more along the lines of they knew the friction that would exist was too much and since they wanted Rosie, Star had to go. I know if I was Elizabeth or Joy, I would be looking to move on because the work environment is probably unbearable now. I've seen enough of the shows with Rosie in it to know I'm finding another show to watch in the mornings.

Sharonomb:
While the disagreement was about child rearing, the real situation is that they each look at things from a different prospective. Rosie is a ultra, ultra liberal, and Elizabeth is a conservative. No disrespect is intended, but a few liberals believe that they are superior and must instruct everyone else how to behave. Rosie is one of those few.
I personally believe that "the View" went straight into the toilet when Meredith Vieira and Star Jones left. Too much of Barbara, can't stand Rosie. I personally don't understand why Elizabeth isn't looking for greener pastures.

Rosie thinks she knows everything. If things keep going the way they are,Elizabeth may be the next to leave and that would be a shame, because I like her.

Because Rosie is a b i t c h. She thinks she is a great mother and knows everything. She kinda reminds me of Kathy Lee Gifford, talks all the time about her kids. The View is going to go down the toliet now since Rosie is on it. Which doesn't bother me because I don't watch it. I seen it once since Rosie was on it. I wanted to see how she was going to act. Barbara needs to tell her to shut up!!
