It is possible that they are going to you're bulk folder. Have you checked that? Some emails are mistaken to as spam and put there.

Do one thing remove all the internet files from your computer and then open your yahoo mail again.
And .com matter is considerable. If your ID is Mr_xyz@yahoo.com and your are using Mr_xyz@yahoo.co.uk.
then your account will be open , you can send your mail but you can't receive any mails.
So, check it again.

That happens to me all the time. Go to sent items and your inbox mail will appear. Then go back to your inbox and you can then open your mail. I do this every day.
