I just found out i started to bleed this morning not sure if spotting or i am on my period. But the pregnancy test said positive but faint line

You need to see a gynecologist ASAP. My pregnancy test showed a "faint" line as well. Sure enough I was pregnant. Given that you are probably pregnant...I would be a little leery about the bleeding/spotting. That would most likely be bad.
Please see your doctor before getting crazy about the above information. You will never know until you see him/her and get some tests done.

The line is often faint when you take the test early in the day getting stronger in appearance in the evening. Try another test later to make sure, because of bleeding.

If the line was faint but clearly detectable then you could very well be pregnant but if you held it to the light and really tried hard to see the line then you probably aren't. I'd say leave it for another couple of days and if your period doesn't start properly try testing again. Hope it turns out ok.

I would certianly go to the doctor for a blood test because I had the same problem as you and I was pregnant and it was eptopic and they had to terminate my twins a faint line could be a sign you tested early and the bleeding could be the egg attaching to the lining of your utuers good luck hope it turns out the way you want.

It's nearly impossible to get a false positive, but chemical pregnancies (where the embryo is expelled within the first 4 weeks) are very common - most women don't know about them.
See a doctor asap. They may give you another test, or they may be able to give you a blood test to confirm things. It may just be spotting and you are pregnant, but be prepared for them to say it is a chemical pregnancy and that this is a very early miscarriage.

What order did your positive and negative test come in? Home pregnancy tests test the level of HCG in your urine. More often than women realize they are pregnant and miscary very early on, only thinking it was a late period. If your body is not excepting the baby your hormone level will drop causing a negative test result.

I took a peg test and the line was very faint so i waited and took another first thing when I woke ( best time) to take one and I was pregnant but I still got my period I know it is weird but make a doc appt and get a blood test tHEN YOU DEF KNOW ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR BODY WITH THE BLEEDING

a faint line is cos ur hormone levels arent very high yet.. but u likely to get a false negative, but almost impossible to get a false positive, the bleeding could be implantation bleeding that occurs around the time ur due on

Hormone HCG is what the test looks for this is not immediately present so you need to wait up to a week.....stop buying tests book a gp appointment and they'll do the test for free. If it's positive they can book all your appointments for you straight away. Good Luck

with most test it will say how ever faint the line you are pregnant if you are not sure take a urine sample down to ur doctor they will normal tell you within a day or two
