Metal line or rubber hose either way get professional to look at it. Brakes are serious if a metal line rusted and burst you will be in for a major repair expence. Rubber hose blew out replace all the brake rubber hoses. Do not patch or install plumbing parts. Always replace brake line parts with new. Very high pressures used in brake systems.

I when to the site the other guy listed. These are generic answers but does look like it has some good info. If the brake line is rubber then you just buy the new hose and install it and then bleed it out. If it is steel then you buy them straight and then you have to bend it to the shape you need. You can go to the group I listed and let me know what vehicle you are working on and the type of brake line and I will send you step by step help.

Need to know which line, however, it is recommended that you always replace the entire section of line or hose when leaks occur. This is a bolt-on operation, parts are not terribly expensive. Brake system will require bleeding after replacement.

either cut out the old part and install a rubber hose
cut out the bad part, put coupling on either end, flare both open ends and replace the missing part with a preflared piece
--or-- replace the whole line

The brakes are somewhat important - too important to purpose to make a patch restore for them. flow ahead and head over to the bike keep and get a clean cable assembly. they're going to instruct you techniques to position in it.
