As far as I know "baby selling" in the USA is legal...they have special agencies set up for such a thing....I couldn't name them but they are on the internet and such.....as I understand it a couple that require a baby from the USA or a from the USA have to pay a "fee" that is organised by the mother and the agent...and the baby agent takes the story from there.....but yes baby selling is legal in USA ....

In the US it's called an adoption fee. It can range from $4000.00 - $40,000.00 (and probably higher depending on the agency). To actually sell a child outright is illegal and the adoption can never be legal. But if it's done through attorney's it can be done somehow I'm sure. It's sick to do a thing like that though.
The adoption act of 1955 makes it illegal, but it is a hard crime to prosecute, so it does happen here a lot. Not just other countries.
A lot of the babies are brought in from other countries though.

No it is not.

There are strict regulations and you need to go through proper channels but when adopting a baby it is very common there is an exchange of a big wad of cash involved.

Of course it is illegal!! Do you live in the U.S.?
Baby-selling and baby-buying are illegal. They're illegal in the U.S. and other western nations, they're illegal in industrialized countries and in underdeveloped countries.

I also saw that Romanian report. Shocking isn't it and they call that Europe! How could the EU even consider letting them in.
Sure there's US laws to stop it. Im not there so I don't know the exact ones.

It is illegal but you can get round this problem by giving the baby away free with a pushchair that you are selling for, say, $100,000.

As long as it's a baby cat, dog or similar animal, no problem.
