if the probability of humans existing in the universe is lower than the probability of life on another planet, does this not then indicate that we are indeed alone in the universe?

Well, not exactly. Probability and Drake's equation only estimate, they do not provide a strong proof.

There are always a few exceptions available
Anything might happen, quite contrary to the human predictions!

i think we are not alone in the universe.
it is pretentious to pretend the contrary.
there are certainly other forms of life , but we do not know them.
with the huge number of planets and systems (we belong to the solar system, but it is not the one), it is obligatory to have other forms of life
